Yup, a lot of people choose the wrong and easier path. I did it, too. But I enjoyed those times a lot because I made amazing friends, met awesome people, and had experiences that will last for a lifetime.

However, in order to reach your goals, pain is often the key and the motivator. Usually we don't see that when we're kids. Even later in life it's hard to recognize it.
