Yes, I agree. You were “lucky” in a way for being an outcast as a child/teen.

I have the same experience: most of my friends are married and have kids which I think many of them aren’t ready for, and I suspect that some of them will end up divorced in the next 10 years. I actually just found out about a childhood friend whose wife cheated on him and left him recently. They have a few-year-old daughter.

I recommend this movie, you might find as much wisdom, nostalgia, and thought-provoking thoughts in it as I have.
