Well, I disagree with many things that you stated here, but I give you that it is a great show. Although, for me, it really started to become good from the 3rd season. The first two seasons did a good job introducing the characters and creating a great atmosphere, but overall they were too slow.

Omar was my favourite character, hands down, but all of the characters became truly interesting and exciting to watch their actions, and see how they think.

I wouldn’t even really say that it’s a “cop show”, but a lack of a better description we refer to it by that. It’s more of a social study, a complex crime opus with so many perspectives and angles.

Thanks for sharing, it was an interesting read, especially to hear the opinion from someone who actually lives in Baltimore.
