This is just unbelievable. Even if they assumed you were going to ask them to pay, they could’ve been follow up at least. It’s an opportunity. It’s a chance. It’s something that could help them. I’d understand if they would be already successful writers, but as you described, that’s not the case.

Writers are self-absorbed, there’s no denying that, but being such a lazy and ignorant person is another level.
