The "just write" advice only applies to absolute beginners for sure. There are so many things to do in order to get an audience and reach some success.

The good thing, Kevin, is that you didn't give up. You've stagnated, but you never quit, and I think that's one of the best attributes a writer needs to have. Trust me, I struggle with that as well.

Keep doing what you're doing, improve, learn, engage, and it might happen. That's what I am doing, anyway. We'll see.
