Although, I do think that the niches and topics matter a lot on Medium in terms of money. With certain subjects, you can easily make more money with a few quality pieces, while other topics won’t get that mch attention, no matted how good your writing is.

I love King, he’s the master no doubt, but let’s not forget how much crap he wrote before arrived to ‘Carrie’. And even after, he failed many times but because he was so prolific, people got enough good and great stuff to remember.
