Thanks, Brian! I appreciate your words.

I enjoyed the first season of American Horror Story, but I knew in advance what to expect from Ryan Murphy. It was messed up enough with its over-the-top characters. However, I gave up on the second season after the second episode, and I never watched any of the other seasons either. Murphy’s style became too predictable and lost all of its shock value by now.

I loved Hill House, but you’re not the first one telling me they hated it. I can understand it, it’s a slow-burn that focuses on drama a lot more than pure horror. But I cared about the characters all the way. In Bly Manor, it was the opposite. I disliked almost everyone from the beginning.

Thanks for reading and offering your 2 cents here! I hope you’ll enjoy my future reviews, essays, and opinions, too.
