I’m not exactly sure what do you mean, but I’ll try to answer.
First of all, Jimmy and I are coming from totally different backgrounds. I’m not sure if the comparison is right, if that what you meant.

Obviously, I’m in the position to have a choice whether I prioritize money or not. He’s not. He also fights with mental illness (probably PTSD, perhaps other demons as well), and he is homeless, so for him, there is no choice. He has to survive and to do that, somehow he has to produce money meanwhile living on the street.

Although in the Uk, there are other ways to survive, living on the street as well, essentially you would need at least some amount of money.

So, I think our lives are not comparable as we are in very different situations and circumstances. For example, a kid in Guatemala, who lives in a dump has no chance to be able to decide what he likes to do. In those kinds of circumstances, your only goal is survival, instinctively.
