Spot on, John.

You were wondering, so let me tell you, here in the UK, Tiger King is still no. #1 on Netflix. People love trash, and if it’s hyped enough, they will watch it because everybody talks about it.

I’m guilty, too. I only watched it out of curiosity — the sensational hype reached me. When I saw the trailer, I immediately thought what a bunch of crap of white-trash. And it is, but I think I viewed it from the wrong angle. I thought it has something controversial, well-researched, and interesting to say.

Tiger King is funny in certain scenes, where I don’t think it’s meant to be funny. However, altogether it’s misleading and crooked.

Joe is a fool but no worse than any other fools in rural America trying to be famous and rich. He built something out of trash, but at least he can say that he built it.

I’m not American, in fact, I’ve never been to the US, but I find it interesting to follow what’s happening over there. It’s very similar to Hungary where I’m from.

Thanks for this great article!
