Sadly, and irresponsibly , I sat in more than one drunk driver's car when I was younger. Most of the time they didn't get caught. And then once one of them did, no more licence. In another case, a different friend of mine drove drunk and totalled his car - I wasn't there but my heart stopped for a second when I heard about it the next day.

I prefer not to imagine how often this happens in the US.

Don't fucking drink and drive. It's very easy: you drink and get drunk and then you don't sit in your car behind the steering wheel. Try it.
