Omar was different from anything else. It’s such a complex, well-writtent character perfectly cast. Hands down it was my favorite character in The Wire, and I rooted for him for so long to not get killed.

But ever since, I’ve seen Williams in many other shows and films and he was such a unique face, a character actor full of charisma and dark vibes. The most memorable, for me, is him playing a father in When They See Us full of regret and anger and passion.

If you haven’t watched that, Ryan, I highly recommend it.
