It’s a strategy. They add writers to the pub because that counts as a follower for them and following count looks better. Plus when they reach out, they hope that writers will read some of their stories to have an idea about their content.

Writers who’s been around for a while know that Noteworthy is basically a dodgy, unreputable, worthless pub pretty much. And even now, when it’s basically common knowledge, they keep doing it.

Don’t even bother with them.
