It sounds like you're in a good situation financially and you manage to keep it that way. That's good to hear.

Keep saving whatever you can because you might need it when you move, eventually.

My iPhone is 7 years old and I still don't want to get rid of it because I don't need a newer version - and I like this one a lot. But its battery is pretty bad now, and some of its functions aren't as good as they used to be. So, sooner or later I'll be forced to replace it.
