I’m very embarrassed to tell you how long Down by Law is on my watchlist. Probably about 10–12 years. I was a high schooler when one of my classmates recommended it to me.

My favourite Jarmusch’s movie will always be Ghost Dog, though. That sad but capturing look on Forest Whitaker’s face, to this day, seems very cool.

That film is probably the most digestible Jarmusch movie I saw, and I love it ever since.

For some reason, movies before the 70s don’t really appeal to me apart from westerns (that’s mainly because of Sergio Leone of course).

Perhaps one day that will change.
