I'd also prefer micropayments on such publications as The New Yorker and The Atlantic. Just like you, I don't read enough from them to be worth paying a monthly or yearly subscription.

It would be an interesting pay model. I don't know how it would work for big publications in the long term, though.

But I'd also prefer to have this option on Substack.
