I liked Carrie but it’s also a tad bit overrated – not as much as The Shining though.

Stand by Me is one of my favorite King adaptions, but I’d certainly add Shawshank and The Green Mile too. As you said, there’s plenty to choose from.

Dr. Sleep was a totally unexpected and pleasant surprise – Flanagan’s dedication to the material had never been in question, but he made a much better movie than I ever thought he would from a book like Dr. Sleep.
