I know this word is so overused, but Shyamalan is truly a visionary director. The problem with him is that sometimes he chooses the wrong stories to tell — whether he wrote them or someone else. But when the script is good, he does bring the best out of it. His skills are impressive to this day.

I’m also looking forward to watching Old. Unbreakable is my favorite movie from him, but I was utterly disappointed in Glass. It was a wasted opportunity. His latest is already controversial, which is usually not a good sign, but I hope I will fall into that side of the audience who loved Old. We’ll see.
