I hated The Amazing Spiderman, but I thought Garfield could've been ideal for the role.
I gotta defend Spider-Man 3 (and I will do in an essay). Rewatching it now, I found that it's not nearly as catastrophic as I remembered. Raimi was unleashed, third film and all, and he decided to have some fun. I refuse to believe that he considered Emo-Spidey and that dance to be serious.
Keaton was great as Vulture. The movie overall? Meh. Not so much.
I actually enjoyed Far From Home a lot. Jake Gyllenhall as Mysterio was a pleasant surprise.
We agree on Holland's Spidey for sure. He's not nearly as good as the hype says. That said, I'm really looking forward to No Way Home. I managed to create some sky-high expectations, though. Haha. But really, if they make the multiverse meeting happen with all the Spideys, I'll be glad.
