I finished the book about two months ago. I couldn’t put it down. The complexity and depth he goes into describing his relationships with family, friends, trainers, and movie stars hits a certain sincerity I never heard from a sports icon of his caliber before.

The chapter when Gil and him become like father and son broke me. It’s just beautiful.
