Honestly, the original is far from a great horror. Don’t get me wrong, Tony Todd is iconic and he’s a pretty good character actor when it comes to horror of any kind – but the film is a BORE.

I’m looking forward to this one, but based on your review, it doesn’t sound good. Although, I for one enjoyed Peele’s Us more than I did Get Out. Yet if this is another harsh politicial and social statement rather than a horror, I might be disappointed. We’ll see.
