The other reason I experienced that it usually takes some time for Google to rank your articles. Once it does, depending on SEO, length, and probably some other hocuspocus I have no knowledge about, the article begins to take off. That external traffic has an affect on the internal views. Not as significant in most cases, but sometimes it could lead to decent internal traffic, too.

That’s why SEO can be crucially important in the long term, I think.
