Hm, interesting thoughts. I'm not sure what I felt toward the kids was compassion. It was more of a relief. I was relieved for them -- even though they're terrible creatures, barely human beings, with traumas they won't ever be able to get rid off.

I loved the episode because it was merciless. It was the most impersonal way (which was very fitting) to learn one's father's death through a phone and that was perfect because that's what they all deserved -- including Logan. No dramatic death scene. No triumphant goodbye. It was ugly and bleak.

I think the rest of the season will be good because now we'll see an absolute massacre without having anyone to point a finger at. The Roys don't have an excuse anymore. They can't say, "It was because of Dad." And I think, in the end, everyone will lose both morally and legally. Now they will have to face how much of an empty shell they are without a spine. They're going to destroy everything including each other -- and Connor may be the only one who survives unscathed.
